Gruta Iris en el Monasterio de Piedra en Nuevalos

El parque del Monasterio de Piedra es un paisaje donde los senderos cruzan con cascadas, arroyos y lagos. Uno de sus atractivos es la Gruta Iris. Esta cueva se ha formado en las tobas karsticas por debajo de una gran cascada. Se puede adentrar por una senda acoplado a una de sus paredes. La vista desde dentro hacia el exterior es impresionante. También el resto del parque merece una visita, pero esto es obviamente una opinión personal.

La cueva se encuentra a 29 km de Calatayud y a 113 km de Zaragoza.
Está situada a unos 3 km de Nuevalos.

The Monasterio de Piedra park is a landscape where trails cross waterfalls, streams and lakes. One of its attractions is the Iris Grotto. This cave has been formed in the karst tuffs below a large waterfall. It can be entered through a path attached to one of its walls. The view from the inside towards the  outside is impressive. The rest of the park is also worth a visit, but this is obviously a personal opinion.

The cave is 29 km from Calatayud and 113 km from Zaragoza.
It is located about 3 km from Nuevalos.

Hace algunos años visitamos este parque y la cueva.
Some years ago we visited this park and the cave. 

Donde esta cueva se puede observar muy bien como es la toba kárstica.
In the rock around this cave the karst tuff can be observed very well.
